ジョン・フォガティ
本名：John Cameron Fogerty
1945年、米カリフォルニア州生まれ。
1959年、スチュ・クック、ダグ・クリフォードと3人でThe Blue Velvetsを結成。
1965年、The Golliwogsというバンド名でシングルを発表するがヒットせず。
1966年に徴兵され、1967年に退役。
1968年、バンド名をクリーデンス・クリアウォーター・リバイバル（CCR)と改め、「スージーQ」が大ヒット。
1972年、CCR解散。
1973年、全編カントリーのソロ・アルバム「ブルー・リッジ・レンジャーズ」を発表。
1997年、アルバム「ブルー・ムーン・スワンプ」でグラミー賞を獲得。
